Space missions have always been a source of curiosity and awe, but it is only now that we are beginning to understand the extent of their reach. Space exploration has evolved from scientific exploration to include commercial and military endeavors. The first space mission was launched in 1957 by the Soviet Union, which was followed by the United States in 1961. But it wasn't until 1969 when humans landed on the moon that space missions became popular. Since then, there have been more than 2,000 manned space flights with over 100 million people traveling into space. Space missions have always been a source of curiosity and awe, but it is only now that we are beginning to understand the extent of their reach. Space exploration is not just about exploring the unknown. It is also about exploring the future of human civilization and our place in the universe. This is why space missions are going beyond the realms of scientific exploration. They are taking on a more ambitious goal of understanding our place in the universe, and what it means to be human. There are many upcoming space programs which include:

·       Private astronauts fly to space

·       NASA’s moon missions

·       NASA’s Lucy (Current space programs)
