The resignation of high-profile CEOs like Tesla's Elon Musk, Disney's Bob Iger, and Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg has made it clear that the tech industry is in turmoil. The Great Resignation is quickly becoming the Great Revolt. The tech industry has been facing several issues in recent years. These include globalization, automation, climate change, and other major social problems that are emphasized by the digital age. The best way for these companies to maintain that power is by keeping their users addicted and uncritical. This is a high-risk strategy: not only does it depend on a continual supply of new customers and fresh content, but also an absence of any major backlash

The Great Resignation is quickly becoming the Great Revolt. So it's no surprise that people are making their exit from the company, for good. The recent resignations of high-profile executives are indicative of a larger cultural shift within the company. The fact that so many people are quick to leave, suggests to me that they have lost confidence in the company’s ability to do right by its stakeholders, including employees. The quotes from different executives who left show how much they were dissatisfied with Alphabet’s culture and the way it treats its employees.
