The first China-based outbreak caused because of the deadly virus has emerged in the previous months and is now spreading to the United States and as well as Europe. The virus is a severe threat to health publicly due to its ability to cause tumors and extreme bleeding. But the COVID outbreak also has a major impact on the global supply chain for semiconductors, computers, and other technology products. That’s because the covid virus is found in the countries where these products are manufactured, not the countries where they are consumed. Marvell Technology Group Ltd. is warning that a Chinese-made memory chip plant will be “significantly” disrupted by an outbreak of the MERS virus, which could cause “some disruption” to tech supply chains. The company, which makes chips used in servers, said the plant is experiencing “an increased level of MERS activity” and is doing its work with the government to lower the level of disruptions. Oil prices have been on a steady decline since mid-2014. It’s now down more than 50% from the 2014 high of $115 a barrel, and it’s likely to fall further, according to analysts.

Marvell Technology Group, an intellectual property holding company, said that covid will disrupt global supply chains for the electronics industry. “There’s going to be some disruption,” Mark Mehos, Marvell’s vice president of manufacturing, told CNBC. Marvell provides electronic components to many tech companies, including Amazon, Apple, and HP. Marvell Technology Group, a semiconductor manufacturer, China’s recent outbreak of contagious animal flu will have “some disruption” to the supply chain. The plant, located in the city of Wenzhou, makes DRAM, or dynamic random-access memory, which is used in servers to store and retrieve data.
