The "next age of Apple's flagship phone iPhone13" was launched in September 2021 to catch the market with remote charging and other innovations. However, production and distribution were affected by the pandemic, bringing about lower-income and fall in share costs of the organization in five seven-day stretches of December 2021. According to recent trends, the demand for iPhone 13 has recently weakened, and consumers are less inclined to invest in hard-to-find items, resulting in a decline in revenue for Apple Inc. A disruption of the global supply chain caused by the pandemic is also responsible for the decrease in revenue as well as the falling of share prices. Customers were frustrated by the lack of iPhones and the delay in getting them to them. Older clients were not keen on updating with the most recent age. In some Asian countries such as Japan, consumers were not happy with the customer service of Apple.Apple officials have also noted that supply chain disruption caused by the pandemic was the root cause of declines in revenue for Apple Inc. which also resulted in a fall in share prices. In turn, declines in client equipment and computing led to low solicitation of phones in overall business areas. Development in every aspect of the planet in view of the pandemic also achieved cutting down the interest of pioneer smartphones like iPhone 13, etc.

The reason behind the falling of revenue of Apple and the fall in share prices of Apple are numerous and are listed below:

  • Disruption of Global Supply chain due to pandemic
  • Increase in cost of components of phone
  • Inflation in many countries of the world due to Covid- 19
  • Lower interest for luxurious merchandise because of joblessness
  • Delay in delivery clients brought about lower consumer loyalty
  • Production slices by Apple because of inaccessibility of parts
  • Decline in consumer electronics and computing industry
  • Consumers were not interested in expenditure in speculation of the new Covid-19 variant "Omicron".
