With its high number of users, Instagram has become one of the most addictive social networking sites on the Internet. If you wish to tone down your Instagram habit, you can delete or deactivate your account. You can delete Instagram account permanently, but you can also deactivate Instagram account temporarily, and you can get back into your account later. Here you can get the steps of how to delete an Instagram account permanently-

·        Use a mobile browser or computer to access the Delete Your Instagram Account page. Instagram will ask you to log in if you aren't logged in. The Instagram app does not permit the deletion of accounts.

·        Click on one of the options next to Why are you deleting your account. After selecting a reason from the menu, the option to permanently delete your account will appear.

·        Select or tap Delete [username].

You can disable your Instagram account only through the browser on your computer or mobile device. Instagram can also be deleted on your iPhone by following the same instructions as above. Instead of using Google Chrome, you should use Safari for iPhone.
