Web Services AWS is joining forces to launch a center for digital innovation and entrepreneurship at UCL. The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) has awarded honorary membership to two UCL professors. UCL ranks in the top five for six subject areas in the latest Research Excellence. UCL’s global impact ranked in the top 25 higher education institutions worldwide. UCL secures funding for $2.6 million in studies into cyber security threats. UCL secures a $1.9 million grant to develop artificial intelligence that can think like a human. UCL opens a new campus in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

UCL and AWS partner to launch a digital innovation center. This program will help to create the UCL Digital Innovation Centre, a new, state-of-the-art facility for digital innovation at UCL. The facility will also provide a valuable resource for the wider university community. UCL will be a leading partner in the Digital Innovation Centre, providing a range of expertise. The center will also have a dedicated space for UCL startups and digital businesses to work with the industry.
