According to the report, US food banks are struggling due to the high demand for food from families and this is due to the pandemic they are facing a huge challenge. The costs are getting higher and the availability of food is getting lowered and the issues of the supply chain are hitting the nation. In some of the families, people are getting less food and the price is getting higher. It is also causing problems among the poorer people.

As the holidays are coming near banks of some nations are worrying that they don’t have large staffing and sauce of cranberry for the party of Christmas and Thanksgiving. Due to lockdown, all restaurants are closed and for that, all the Americans are keeping stock in the grocery stores. For this reason, food banks are expanding to keep the food stored in the banks to meet the crisis.

Due to the pandemic situation the cost of food is getting higher because the labor charges are increasing as there are many labor shortages. In some of the areas, people are suffering due to shortages of food. Food banks are getting large in number so that people can get food and do not face the situation of shortage. To lower the demand many countries are helping to recover from this stage.
