An anime focusing on loli characters is referred to as a loli anime. Anime that features Loli characters is a Loli anime. A loli is a cartoon character who looks way too young for her (or his) age, and so is extraordinarily cute. Lolis are female characters who look like children and generally act like them as well. The most common reason is that these characters are still children, but there are also examples of older characters who happen to look much younger. The cuteness of Loli is widely known and they are also referred to as moe for their ability to cause feelings of affection. Lolis come in many forms, including anime, manga, light novels, visual novels, video games, etc.
