Asian Pacific American Heritage Month is a time to recognize and celebrate the history, culture, and contributions of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the United States. It was first celebrated in 1992 as a way to honor the significant contributions that Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders have made to our nation’s history. The month-long observance includes many events, including a National Day of Remembrance for Japanese Americans who were interned during World War II. Asian American Heritage Month includes countries such as China, Japan, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam.

Asian Pacific American Heritage Month is a celebration of the culture, history, and accomplishments of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the United States. It is celebrated from May to June every year. The month-long observance was first formalized by an Act of Congress in 1977. Asian Pacific American Heritage Month includes countries such as China, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Taiwan, Vietnam, and many more.
