A patent is actually an exclusive right that is granted for a particular invention. For a patent application process, these steps you need to keep in mind:
• First, you have to get ready to apply
• Then you have to prepare and submit your initial application
• Then after that, you need to work with your examiner
• You can receive your approval
• Finally, try to maintain your patent

For a patent filing process, creating a patent on a particular invention, you have to apply for an application with (the USPTO). The steps through which you acquire the patent is called Patent prosecution. The materials that a patent needs are a specification for the patent, a gist of the entire invention with images, and drawings where ever required, and a declaration of an inventor that he was the first to invent the matter in that specification. There are 2 main important factors you need to keep in mind, they are patentability requirements and provisional requirements.

Here are some patent process steps you need to know while applying for a patent.
• The first step is to file for a patent application. You need to understand the overall process of the patent before you file for a patent application.
• You should examine the patent application. It can be examined for 4 to 6 months. it can also take 3 to 5 years if you file it with USPTO.
• Responding to rejections and objections. Normally your patent might get rejected the first time. But you can convince the examiner later, with mutual discussion
• A patent is granted only when you pay the fees, after paying the fee in 4 months the patent will be granted.
