About the death of a Russian general in Ukraine, a lot of speculation about the identity and motivations of the person who killed General Andrey Kartapolov is going around. One theory is that it was a revenge attack for his role in Russian military action in Ukraine. The Ukrainian government has been accused of being behind the assassination, but there is no evidence to support this. There are also arguments that Russia's enemies were behind it, or that it was an internal power struggle between factions within Russia.
