Many parents adored the money which was left extra from the tax of the child (CTC) now it is the time to think about the adjusting expenses as there will be no reduction of cash. Till now, parents are receiving the amount of $3000 per child who is under 18 years, and the children who are under 6 years are receiving $3600. According to the IRS, more than 38 million families are receiving the CTC which is expanded.

The program of the child tax is going to expire at this year-end. President Biden thought of extending the deadline through 2025, but the Democrats are not interested to extend that much. They are preferring to extend it till 2022. Mainly two laws were found which supplied money to the families. The tax law which was passed in 2017 increased the amount from $1000 to $2000 per child up to 17 years old.

From many of the researchers it came to knowledge that the families of low income would be affected most if there is an expiry of the current law. According to some of the universities, it is noticed that the CTC of millions of children kept the poverty line down. One thing it means is that the tax which is credited to the child may fall but the personal exemption would rather come back.
