To calculate how much you're paying for each impression with your CPM campaign, it's pretty straightforward. Simply, divide your total spend on your CPM campaign by the number of impressions to get your cost per impression. $1000 ad spend / 357,000 impressions = $0.002. The formula for CPM is as simple as the concept behind it. Since CPM is the cost per thousand impressions, then you simply divide the cost by the number of impressions divided by a thousand. So, the CPM formula is CPM = 1000 * cost / impressions.
