The Emmy Awards, which, like everything else, had to change procedures due to Covid worries over the previous two years, appeared a little more normal this year.

The red carpet, which was scarce the previous year, was once again in full force. Once more, the ceremony took place indoors at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles in front of a jam-packed studio audience that was mainly mask-free.

The 74th Primetime Emmy Awards host Kenan Thompson had previously informed The Associated Press that dramatic confrontations were unlikely to occur at the ceremony.
